Watters Edge Retreat has many things
to offer when it comes to outdoor recreation.
One of the most exciting times of the year for us is Winter.
The snowmobiling in our area offers you some of the best trails in Wisconsin. If you are planning a trip to Northern Wisconsin this
winter it is imperative that you snowmobile in and around the Lakeland Area and enjoy the breath-taking beauty of the
Northern Highlands Forest! McNAUGHTON TRAIL INFO The McNaughton Trail is a very scenic trail that is very good for a beginner. Very few steep hills around 3 different lakes with a variety of timber types. A shelter with a fire ring is provided. Pets on leashes are allowed when there is no snow. This trail is groomed and tracked. It is also the only trail on which skating is allowed, from the entrance to and including around McNaughton Lake. The trail is a total of 13 miles long, but is split into 4 loops: 
The trail is located 14 miles south of Woodruff on Hwy 47,
then west on Kildare Road. Information for other trails in the area is available by request.
